Dreams...Do you believe in them?

A dream has the power to become real. Nourish it to inhabit in it.

Ibelieve in dreams. It is a great way to utilize your mind when you are sleeping. And the best way to push yourself when you are awake. Our dreams have the potential to create our reality. At least that’s what most of us like to believe.

In our dreams, we see things happening. In our awakened state, we endeavor to transform those pleasant happenings into our reality. But sadly enough, when it comes to implementing those vignettes of our dreams into our conscious life, it becomes very complex and tiring. Mostly unattainable and almost unreal. The harsh realities of the matrix of our existence come into play. Those which had never been a part of our dreams.

You can’t give up on it till you get to live it….Knowingly or unknowingly they give us the purpose to move on.

A dire consequence. Our bodies and minds are quickly overwhelmed. First, due to the sheer frustration of not being able to fulfill our dreams, and second, by encountering for the umpteenth time the problems that are embedded in the very fabric of our lives. Our minds are duped and a feeling numbs us. Our imagined dreams are not even feasible in our actual lives.

But like many others, I also believe in another thing. Nothing is impossible. Perhaps the actualization of the dream is not viable or plausible today or even a decade later. But if the dream has a heart, it will eventually manifest itself in the real world. The passion behind it will be the cause of its becoming. You just need to hold onto your dream, truly, madly, and deeply. You can’t give up on it till you get to live it.

Millions of people daydream. Daydreams are very short, pleasing, and most indulgent. They act as breathers in our day-to-day lives. Most important, they are the only portals that enable us to wander freely between our real moments and the fictitious ones. And the best part is the nature of our daydreams. It instantly drowns us or thrusts us up, consumes us, or propels us. And what is left behind is a distinct lingering aftertaste. You will live that day with its aroma around you. It will unconsciously affect most of your thoughts and deeds.

Dreams are an integral part of our lives. It provides food for our mind and body. It offers the impetus to think more and to ask for more. To stretch ourselves to live for the wonderful things that we have dreamt of to happen. Sometimes our dreams may be surreal, but no matter how fantastic or far-reaching they might be, we still cling to them. Knowingly or unknowingly they give us the purpose to move on.

Wordart of an infant dreaming

No one can ever stop or forget to dream. It is unconscious and involuntary. You can only feel tired of clinging to your dream. A reflection to get the better of your exhaustion. The future is further away than your dream. So blindly believe in your dreams and let the future unfold.

Indeed a dream is not the priviledge of a handful. Anyone who can dream is empowered to fulfill it. Yes, we do have umpteen instances of people who became successful by following their dreams.
